My work explores compositions of invisible light, seeking to connect the viewer to an intimate dialogue of emotions. Although deeply intuitive, each painting emerges through a careful search for unity, balance, tension, and contrast.
My background in architecture has profoundly influenced this visual language. Abstraction appears almost instinctively through the first gestures and the use of tools beyond the brush, initiating a process in which each element gradually finds its place within the composition. Sometimes harmony is achieved through contrast; at other times through the duality between movement and stillness.
I work directly on unstretched linen and cotton canvas, allowing a more physical and spontaneous relationship with the surface. The freedom to move the canvas, place it on the floor, or suspend it in space becomes an essential part of the creative process itself.
Mon travail explore les compositions de lumière invisible, cherchant à établir entre le spectateur et moi un dialogue intime d’émotions. Bien que profondément intuitive, chaque peinture naît d’une recherche minutieuse d’unité, d’équilibre, de tension et de contraste.
Ma formation en architecture a profondément influencé ce langage visuel. L’abstraction émerge presque instinctivement à travers les premiers gestes et l’utilisation d’outils autres que le pinceau, initiant un processus dans lequel chaque élément trouve progressivement sa place au sein de la composition. Parfois, l’harmonie s’obtient par le contraste ; d’autres fois, par la dualité entre le mouvement et l’immobilité.
Je travaille directement sur des toiles de lin et de coton non montées sur châssis, ce qui me permet d’établir une relation plus physique et spontanée avec la surface. La liberté de déplacer la toile, de la poser au sol ou de la suspendre dans l’espace devient une partie essentielle du processus créatif lui-même.
